The things you are most likely to ask first
Estimated prices are head £119, 10cm full-body £169, large full-body £219 and rear-half £49 (GBP). Packaging and UK delivery are extra. We confirm your individual quote and making time before you decide. Online payment is not available yet.
Natural light, no heavy filters, and clear enough to read the coat markings and the face. One face-on, one from the side and one full body is ideal.
A phone snapshot is plenty — no need for a photo shoot. But strong backlight, very dark frames or motion blur all make the likeness harder, and we will ask you to retake those.
By default photos are used only to make your piece. If we would like to show one publicly, we ask you separately.
The website itself never uploads them: the photos you pick in the form are previewed locally in your browser and never leave your device. You attach them yourself when we reply.
The body is needle-felted wool over a wire armature. The surface is the wool itself, nothing coated.
Handle gently and avoid hard rubbing or long periods in direct sunlight. Ask us about care for your chosen style.
We review your photos and agree the style, pose and key details before making. Any sketch, revision and final-photo arrangements are confirmed individually before you proceed.
If you have concerns about a finished piece, contact us so we can review them against the agreed brief. Rework and refund arrangements are confirmed before payment.
Estimated prices (GBP): pet head portrait £119; 10cm full-body figure £169; large full-body figure £219; rear-half sculpture £49. Packaging and delivery are not included. Final pricing and making time are confirmed after reviewing your request; other styles are quoted individually.
We can estimate making time only after our workshop has reviewed your pet’s photos, preferred style and complexity. There is no fixed turnaround for every piece.
Send us your photos to get a personal quote and estimated making time in writing. You review and confirm the details before paying; production starts after confirmation and payment.
The plan is to take payment by PayPal or card. Neither is set up yet — there is no merchant account behind this site, no payment page and no payment link — so nothing here can take money, and any price you see is not a bill.
The prices shown are estimated prices, not an invoice. Online payment is not available. Any payment method must be confirmed before you proceed.
The felting is done by the workshop we work with, not in a studio of our own. We handle your photos, the brief and the sign-off; we do not claim to have needle-felted anything ourselves.
We are not naming them here, and we are not going to dress their work up as a studio of our own. What we are responsible for is the brief, the sketch sign-off and keeping you informed.
UK delivery only. Packaging and delivery are extra and will be confirmed with your quote.
Please include your UK delivery location in your enquiry. We will confirm delivery costs before you agree to anything.
Yes. The request form has a "This is a memorial piece" option; with it ticked we check the coat and the expression more carefully, and if the photos fall short we would rather ask again than guess.
If you would like a collar, a name tag or another keepsake worked in, write it in the details field under that option. There is no surcharge for a memorial piece.
Yes, either as one group or as separate pieces. For a group, how they sit together — who leans on whom, which way they face — is settled at the sketch stage.
You can start an enquiry, which is the first step — it is not an order and it commits you to nothing.
We come back on whether it is feasible, what it would cost and how long it would take. An order only exists once you have agreed to all three in writing.
The gallery shows pieces made by our partner workshop. Photographs are displayed with permission. We coordinate your enquiry and commission; the workshop makes your piece.
Your own piece is made to the photos and details agreed with you after workshop review.
